Sara is a Child Family Specialist at Evolve Youth Services, where she provides compassionate youth leadership and relational care to children and families across Humboldt County.

With over four years of experience as a preschool teacher and a background working with neurodivergent individuals and trauma-impacted youth, Sara brings a deeply empathetic, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to her work.

She earned her B.A. in Child Development and Family Relationships from Cal Poly Humboldt, where her research in trauma, resilience, and compassion fatigue earned her the opportunity as a contributing author for a published study in Education Sciences.

Driven by a passion for mental health advocacy and community connection, Sara strives to make every child feel seen, valued, and deeply supported.

A former personal trainer, Sara stays active through lifting, biking, camping, and river swimming. Outside of work, she also loves cooking, spending time with family, and unwinding at home with her three cats and partner.
